Wazzum

I bought the Wazzum software Premiun edition and paid $ 399.00 for it. The advertisement said that you will get lifetime upgrades while you own the domain. Since I bought the software, it’s been a nightmare. Michael Pennington doesn’t know much about anything and his support was three words per email. I’ve been reading post from him and competitors and its funny because most of the time the people writing all this good things are themselves. Michael (Wazzum) also owns a site that grades dating software and he talks how great is Wazzum. Now, the latest news was that Wazzum was sold to Roy Haryanto, from San Diego, CA. so, I contacted Mr. Haryanto to give me the upgrade since I bought the premium version. The answer was that I need to pay 99.00 for it. This sounds exactly like Michael Pennington but with a different name. Now, you can ask me if I was scammed, I honestly would say, YES why? Because I bought a product based on the customer service of upgrading the software and never got it. So I was lured to pay for something they never intend to give. I don’t care if anyone buy this software or not, that’s your choice, just good luck with it. If you cannot pay a programmer to make your own software then you should do something else. Most of the time their servers are down and the Flash chats and IM don’t work. Even if you chose to use your own server, the flash chat and IM are controlled by them, so if their server is down, guess what your business would be affected. Roy Haryanto is no different that Michael Pennington. “Two wings in one bird”. I also sent a complaint to the BBB that would be logged in 30 days. Note: Wazzum is not certified by the BBB. The rate of C is because not veryone submit claims. I just did, so in 30 days it would be a C-, thats a rating not a certification.

Looks like I got suckered by this company, wazzum scam. There is little support. Just the run around. The script did remind me of Wordpress but really it's the lack of support that ruins the whole thing in my opinion. I was told I would get a refund after the owner demanded I take the script off my site because he was tired of me asking to him to fix the script. He told me it must be my servers. It was not as once I deleted the wazzum script I put up a functioning script from another company in 5 minutes and it worked fine. He said my refund is being "processed." We all know it takes 5 minutes to refund from paypal. He is making me wait but only after he told me to immediately delete the script which I did in 1 minute after getting his email. I will be surprised if he refunds my money. I plan on contacting the sate attorney general if he does not refund my $300 like he said he would and the BBB. To say I was dissatisfied with the support is an understatement. 2.5 never worked fully for me. I have called many times and no one answers the phone. He touts excellent customer service and satisfaction guaranteed yet for almost 2 months I did not have a fully functioning script. He said 2.5 would work and it did not for me. He stated I would get upgrades for life but he said he was too "busy" to upgrade my site in any sort of timely manner. A refund is due so I hope he pulls through. So far I am not confident I will get refunded. Technically he has 30 days but if he was so tired of dealing with my requests to properly install 2.5 in a timely manner he would have refunded the money after he saw a different script on my site. If he waits 30 days to refund that is really bad business practices but nothing illegal. If I don't get a refund I have no choice but to contact the attorney general. I like the fact that you can call Michael over at Wazzum and he answers his phone. That's unheard of these days on the net. I used to own ABK-Soft.com but the product had no support and the software was encrypted. Was a joke when I tried to get something done. I found Wazzum and then called Michael and was very pleased with his responses on the phone. He knows his stuff. So, if you are thinking about open source dating software, then check out Wazzum.com. Good product and a great guy. He is also in America unlike those idiots at ABK-soft.com who are in Russia.

I just checked Wazzum BBB rating and it's an "A". If they are a scammer company why do they have an "A" rating. I suspect this is a posting done by abk-soft.com which they are known for posting slanderous lies about dating software companies all over the net. Don't trust ABK-soft.com.

I have experienced terrible customer service. I don't know about the Wordpress thing other then some of the script reminds me of Wordpress.. Probably asking Wordpress themselves would solve that question. I have called many times without an answer. For two months I have been waiting for 2.5 upgrade. Michael said he was tired of dealing with my support requests and told me to take down his software. He said he would refund in 30 days. He could have refunded in 3 minutes via paypal. I hope he does refund my money. His website says satisfaction guaranteed and lifetime support but that was not my experience. Hopefully I will get a refund like he promised. Not sure why he likes to prolong the misery for me but that is his business decision. I can't recommend his software because of the slow or non-existence upgrade and troubleshooting help. He never did troubleshoot the script so I am wondering if something fishy is going on. He always said his "team" would look at it. I will keep you guys posted on refund as he now says it's being "processed". If I don't get a refund I will go to the attorney general. I have only heard a voice on an answering machine. He never has picked up the phone. It seems odd that anything technical he has his "team" do and then gets very defensive. He emailed me and said he would refund my my money even though he demanded that I immediately take down the wazzum software which I did. Still no refund. Hopefully he will pull through. Something seems odd about the whole thing. I paid $300 mostly because the site had me convinced there would be excellent support. I did not receive it. Michael in the end sent emails laughing at the fact that I could not get a fully functioning site for two months. I installed a script from a different company in 5 minutes and it worked fine so it was not my servers. regardless he offered a refund and so I will waoit 30 days and start legal action as I am out $300 with never a fully functioning 2.5 script which I deleted within one minute of receiving Michael's request to do so.

We are looking for other people that feel they have been SCAMMED by the "American" company called Wazzum also known as Michael Pennington. We are filing a Multi Plantiff Federal lawsuit against them for running what we believe to be the largest SCAM in U.S. history. We are wanting to file this this month and there will be NO charge for the Attorney. You can call me direct if you have any information.
